Tawangmangu (Dreamland Library) - Kethek Temple is located in the northeast of Cetho Temple, Kethek in Javanese means monkey or monkey, the name was given by local residents, because in the past there were many monkeys around the temple.
This temple is located on the northwest slope of Mount Lawu, and is included in the District of Jenawi, Karanganyar Regency, Central Java. To reach this place, you have to walk through a path as far as + 300 m from Cethoo Temple, in the direction of the path leading to Puri Taman Saraswati.
At present the Kethek Temple area is on land owned by Perum Perhutani.
Kethek Temple is a site with four terraces facing west. Each terrace is connected by stone steps.
On the right side of the temple there is a path as an alternative to go to the top terrace.
