Salatiga (Dreamland Library) - Located about 10 kilometers from Salatiga, precisely in the village of Rowoboni, Hamlet Candisari, Banyubiru, Semarang Regency. It is suspected that the stone building is not a legacy of Prabu Brawijaya V, the last ruler of the Majapahit kingdom.
However, the Hamlet Temple is also known as the Brawijaya V Temple, because it was thought that in ancient times this temple was a place that was used by King Majapahit namely Brawijaya V to conduct austerities.
Hamlet Temple is the result of artifacts from the ruins of a Hindu temple on the edge of Rawapening Ambarawa. From the locals, this temple is a legacy of Prabu Brawijaya V.
From the estimated side of this artifact the temple was built around the IX century or in the era of the Ancient Mataram Kingdom.
According to local residents, in the Dukuh Temple area used to have quite a lot of statues,
At present these statues no longer exist or are lost stolen by irresponsible people.
For this reason, Dukuh Temple is now under the supervision of the Central Java Archaeological Heritage Preservation Center (BP3). There is also a guard post, along with a caretaker who maintains and provides an explanation to tourists or visitors who come.
